COACH MIKE AMENDOLA

Coach Amendola is in his tenth season as head varsity coach at his Alma mater  -  Clarkstown South HS(1995).  In 2018, Coach Amendola led the team to a very successful season which was capped off with the League Championship and Section title - the 1st in school history! In addition, in 2015, he was awarded 2015 League Coach of the Year and 2015 Conference 2 Coach of the Year to the 2015 team who were also League Champions. Coach Amendola came to Clarkstown South after a five year stint at Yonkers, where he help to rebuild the Yonkers high school Baseball Program.  Coach Amendola was selected as MSG varsity Hudson Valley 2011 Coach of the Year, leading Yonkers to a top four seed in section one Class A.  His coaching career begin as a Freshman head coach and varsity assistant at Suffern High School (ten years) he guided his teams to four Rockland County Championships.  During his tenure at Suffern, Coach Amendola was awarded assistant Coach of the Year by the Rockland County Athletic Directors. Currently, he is an adaptive Physical Education Teacher working with special needs students in Yonkers.
